The project consists of the design and supply of all components for two safety booms. The booms were installed at the reservoir of Pine Portage and the other in the reservoir of Hay.

Reason For Project

Dam presented a danger to the public, plastic safety booms could not handle the icy conditions.

Solution

Ice proof safety boom was designed and installed to keep people away from the dam.

Outcome

Boom was built, installed and still in service.
